[FREE FOR LIMITED TIME] Terrain Toolbox

Hi, i have released Terrain editor plugin few weeks ago and made it now free for limited time. If this looks like something you could use for your project now or in the future, try it out. If you like it, please leave a review

Thanks
Luke

Features of the plugin
-Multiple Terrains Editing ( you can edit as many as you want, editing up to 20 terrains is realy fast, but you can edit even 100 terrains if you need to and edit only bunch at one time )

-Edit Terrains with large brush ( because the resolution of terrains is scale down, you can edit terrain with realy large brushes at size of whole terrain or even multiple terrains, making it possible to create huge mountains, hills etc. )

-Convert Unity Terrains into Low poly meshes at desired resolution ( For mobile games you might need to convert terrains into meshes, you can select whole terrains or only specific area of terrains you want to convert to mesh and with hit of one button you can convert terrains to mesh with maximum amount of verts you set )

-Create multiple terrains with one button ( Tool to quickly create as many terrains as you need, also allows you to do edits to all terrains at once like changing textures etc )

-AutoSet neighbors ( Automaticly set all neighbours with hit of one button, no setup needed )

-Presets ( If you are collaborating with more people and you dont want designers to mess with your scene, they can work in their own scene, save all the changes to Preset and then you can easily load those changes into your scene from the created preset. Its also good system for testing things out and saving them out to preset, so you dont have constantly hide and drag out terrains from your project panel )

That baking terrains into a mesh looks interesting. Is there any way for it to do a smarter reduction where it keeps mesh detail in more varied areas/cuts down triangles in flat areas or is it just a simple grid?

In this version, it is doing same reduction over whole terrain. I can see your point, but it would also difficult to control the mesh vert count with having more details at certain areas, i wanted to do solution where you can have very fast mesh version of Unity terrain in desired vert count.
What you can do tho, is select region of Unity terrain and convert it to higher vert count and then select other area and convert it to lower vert count. You dont have to convert whole Terrain to mesh, but only parts of it as you see fit in any vert count with the blue rectangle area selection tool.

Hope that helps.
