Free!! Game/Asset Promotion

Hi all,

We are producing a short video which will be shown in schools throughout Australia to demonstrate what’s possible with Unity3D.

Could we please show a clip of your game or asset store resource in the video?

Specifically we are looking for visually engaging projects which will excite students with ‘what’s possible’. These may be driving, flying, space shooters, adventure - infact any genre other than violent games. We are unable to show any violence against people or animals. An old style space shooter would be fine but blatant war scenes or even turrets firing at robots would be considered too violent by many schools.

We are working with many schools, training students on the basics and convincing them to move from GameMaker to Unity with many schools now purchasing Unity Educational Licenses.

This video will help the cause and also provide developers with some exposure.

Any developers willing to allow us to use some in-game footage (100% Unity) will have their game name and web address on screen while their game is playing. Clips will be short - approx 5 seconds each. I’ll update this post shortly with resolution requirements.

We ask that all clips be provided without game name or web address so that we can add this info with a consistent font and text placement.

Asset Store content providers are also welcome to submit a clip which shows a short walkthrough or demo. Again, asset name and web address will be onscreen during your demo.

So, if you are happy for us to use one of more clips in our video, please upload short 5 second clips (can be longer and we will edit as required) using DropBox or any web-based uploader and we will download from there. Please PM with the link to your clip and include the Game or Resource Name and web address we should use - please keep urls as short as possible.

Sorry for the short notice but this is in production now so we need any contributions asap.

Thanks

Jeff

Clips should be: 1080p at 29.97fps

Thanks for the responses so far. This exposure will be very high. Thousands of students at thousands of schools.

Cheers

Jeff
