Is there any plans for unity to offer the free licences again? I’m interested in OUYA mainly.
i dont think so, plus as far as i know ouya plugin will require unity android pro
Ah… I think that the pro version may put it out my reach, college fees and general life costs. I just don’t want to drop 400 odd quid on an android licence only to be told next week that there now available free.
If there will be free licenses, it will be when U5.0 its almost finished. Just like last year(U3.4).
Yeah, they gave out Unity Android and iOS specifically because they were preparing to release Unity 4.0 and wanted to get a bunch of new people onboard for that (and those people still had to pay if they wanted to upgrade to Unity 4 Android or iOS).
