I had enough of people having problems with existing GravityGun scripts and such, so I wrote a new one.
I present to you: The RigidbodyCarrier!
It supports:
- Grab a rigidbody via Input Button and Raycast
- Drag it around (relative offest to carrier, variable)
- It won’t go through walls since SweepTests are performed
- Other rigidbodies are pushed
- There is a minimum height relative to the Carrier Object
- When the object is stuck beind an obstacle and the carrier tries too hard to drag it further, it’s dropped
- Throw the object
I’m pretty sure there is room for improvement, but why don’t you give it a look first ![]()
