Free Unity Proj - Deco Metropolitan Lounge

Deco Metropolitan Lounge is a test project I’m doing for www.friendshangout.com The project is free for you to download and experiment with. It does use a cool shader, the Lightmap/Specular Vector shader. You can make some very nice specular metals with it and can give your metals a grungy look when your texture includes an Alpha channel . The project comes in two variations, the First is a standard color version and the Second is a more stylized Black and White. Ok, enjoy…

The whole scene is too dark.

I didn’t think so, maybe your display needs to be adjusted. I thought the shaders on the floor and brass railing very nicely done. In fact, I thought the whole thing was nice. Thank you for sharing this, I’m sure I’ll pick up some nice tips from it.

Those screenies look mighty enticing! And the final product, beautiful!

No problems at all with lighting from within Unity on my crappy Mini.

Downloaded the project and checked out your site. Bookmarked it and downloaded some of your tutorial vids on level building. Just recently got Unity Indy license and am gonna start building a level soon. Your vids will help greatly, thanks for sharing!

It looks a bit better on my imac screen but still, a little lighter and a tad more colour!

I think that may have been the ‘look’ the maker was trying to achieve, especially as he made a stylised black and White version.

Looks great to me, but that is only my oppinion.

matt.

Just wanted to thank you for sharing.

Throw some water outside, toss some furniture around haphazardly and you’ve created a new level of Rapture.
Very nice.

Ran at 200-400 fps at 1280x800 on 8800GT.

Fucking solid and awesome as always dude!
