french accent on GUI button ?

Hello,

I wanted to create a button + a box rectangle for comment and I have seen I can’t use french letters with accents !?!
Is there a way to use french language on buttons (GUI) ?

Save the script as UTF-8 instead of ASCII.

Thanks for your answer…
It has worked one time ! When I wanted to change the words on the button and save again, I couldn’t have accents anymore even with UTF-8 saving !?!
Then I have deleted the script and made another one : No accents anymore and only the letters without accents were visible !?!

Could you help me, please ???

Not sure what else to say…change the preferences in whatever editor you’re using so it saves files as UTF-8. That’s all you need to do. (Aside from using fonts that actually have accented characters, of course.)

I use UniScite and the UTF-8 encoding before saving…
As already said, it was OK one time only… So it seemed to work. Then the letters with accents have disappear !?!
I use Arial TTF for tests…
