Why two ? Just to let people choose what they prefer.
I think that both are required but I am realistic. So, it would be nice if one of them is completed.
Do you know how to set up the French translation system ?
Any help is welcome
Thank you
Sorry if it is an off topic but i was reading the SceneView in spanish and there are some mistakes or improvements (espichado, empoderarlo a usted…). Is there any way to help in this?
Hi Debhon! Sure you can, anything you see strange you can change it by logging in to http://translate.unity3d.com. In addition, you can continue translating Unity’s documentation if you want and helping out with getting the docs in spanish.
Sorry for being unclear
In fact, I would like to know what is the limit (vote number) for starting to localize the documentation / tutorials in French.
Thank you Graham
Of course, there are more than 154 French people using Unity !
I confirm that French customers really expect the localization of Unity documentation into French.
I read it in various forums dedicated to Unity or Game development. Wow, there are 182 votes !
Would it be possible to start translating the documentation into French ?
It may decide a lot of (new) French users to use Unity and it will encourage the current French users to contribute and to promote Unity.
Thank you
I’ll support you in this, I myself would of love some french docs when I first started out using the engine back in 2010. In fact, i’m also trying to give back to the french community by translation the video tutorial that I’m producing
