👋 From the team: Muse Chat in-editor - now available!

Hi everyone, I’m excited to announce that you can now access Muse Chat in the editor!

The integration of Muse Chat into the editor goes beyond simply replicating the chat window; it’s the first attempt to address a clear user demand for Chat to grasp the context of your project and environment. In response, we’ve not only incorporated your current Unity version, input system, or rendering pipeline alongside your prompt but have also taken a significant step forward by introducing dynamic project context.

In this initial version, we’re including

  • extraction of dynamic project settings.
  • the ability to select prefabs in the hieararchy.
  • decipher the console errors, messages, or warnings.

Example of how we use Muse Chat to decipher a, in this case, easy console error.

The expansion of Chats’ capabilities aligns with our mission of assisting you in resolving Unity-related queries or generating practical code solutions and we are excited to continue this work.

Our aim is to provide increasingly tailored responses to the unique challenges you might face, empowering you to create and share more game experiences with the world!

Want to give it a go?

  1. Go to Unity Muse | Explore capabilities and click on Chat
  2. Use the editor download instructions or this link

Download try it out, and let us know what you think - we are eager to hear your feedback! :ear: :rocket:

Best, the Muse Chat team

Ps. That’s not all!
:newspaper: We also just announced that all five Muse capabilities are available in the editor, read more here.

:desktop_computer: Want to see them all in action? Make sure to check out the GDC session that @manuelsainsily and I did on how to prototype in the editor using Muse.
