(Full solve: (Line draw+Auto-extrude) CC0 Unity + better Blender version (+cheat sheet addon)) 3D Generator for simple unrealistic "outblock" meshes?

Probably i cant answer why would you concretely do this, but now it is on point for any man coming here.

I was explaining the whole mine plot twist above multiple times, and I just find satisfying watching AI do everything for me, it is like the Fire, Water, ???, can be watched forever thing, but of the 21st century one.

It’s like crushing bubbles from a packing, but actually gives you useful stuff in the end.

(ye i even abuse it for my higher education after 4.0 came out, but the educational program is so bad, that i don’t lose anything, maybe even get an actual skill how to prompt AI fast and iterate with it + actual programing skills not some “here is Python, the end”)

btw AI is also useful when you need to time manage and count how much time you spent on stuff to start doing something instead of oversolving 1 simple problem that is not seen by player, maybe there is a program that can count hours spent in any program at least or i can make it with AI?

To be completely honest, from the stuff you have shown, relying on AI isn’t doing you any favours.

And you’ll get to a point where it can’t help you, and you’ll be stuck as you won’t have any actual underlying skills to tackle the problem.

Dunno maybe the extruder is bad, considering it is just an extrusion of bunch of lines not even image (the first version did it from images, though).

But the upper thing which is almost a locked to change notepad is useful in Blender case, better than to remember the key and its doings or pressing Search like a madman or looking up in the Preferences.

What it is, if not a favor? It is like a schoolmate giving you the thing, lol.

Though the Extruder is inside Unity and ready to be modified any moment + adding a rigidbody.

Forgot the main. Usually i have skills to solve the issue, just having problems debugging and finding it.

Fun fact:
Actually never copied in algebra while having bad grades other guy with even worse grades was from me, lol.

Anyways i still don’t understand the point of vs debugger in Unity case if it gives you the error in console with the lines and is it useful when you don’t get any messages in console but bug exists?

Still don’t get the fuss when i got the result and stated clearly this mess is exactly what i needed.

Also i know what is topology and see that ai is topology nightmare always. I just don’t know how to reach a good one myself even in a boot case (fine did ur way explained, i watched tutorials how but forgot everything so we can count it as my head empty considering that there also is a comical amount of practice with properly going through steps not just uhhh im gonna do it manually with only mouse and no hotkeys, no proper reference, only imagination level stuff)

Come on make a proper prototype a level solution, even pros say that probuilder is bad.

Even simple extruder in here is faster to make a very rough custom maze/outlines than it is with Pro builder, especially for newbies and non modellers which doesn’t even know what is a vertice. Considering you can’t keep the mess made with probuilder if u re after good looks

I think ProBuilder is fine for greyboxing. Having game engine modeling tools was a lot more important in the past but now most levels are just made out of exported models. Looks like Tunic used ProBuilder for the levels.

The Polygon Shape tool also seems ok, it’s quite easy to make shapes and modify them. I wouldn’t expect Unity to invest in more complicated modeling tools as they can’t really compete with Blender or Maya.

Oh my god. He looks exactly like my cousin!

And he is also a designer, music maker etc type of guy, even their names are the same!

(Though i don’t like this style as is the art and music from my cousin, i’m more into oldschool stuff)

Anyways. the main problem here that the enitre topic plot twist is a solution for a 5 year old level people noobing around, not some crutch make it proper-perfect self and spent an year to be able to make it fast, but still slower in unproper extruding than a simple outline and extrude tool, that is not even finished properly even for this simple purpose and made for a 1h30 with AI (if i wasn’t fooling around and accidentaly overwriting needed, the real count is 2h), also it applies only if you’re jobless in the WHOLE year or it is just 2920 hours of proper practicing.

I actually could made a better extrude addon tool for the Blender myself with AI, without even knowing Python, for the most basic fixes just knowing English on a B1 level is enough.

Instead of spending 5+(more? 1 was useful btw (excluding making useless details in description)) hours here, or something non the less useful at least.
With many hours it could be a Piskel or better level thing, but for 3D low-polys, not simple 2D pixel art.

About being my game trounced. It is a free joke trash game, people on YT are already happy with the first prototype level and there’s literally only 1 dislike

(dunno does studio show them properly after YT added the dumb no one can see dislikes policy, so dumb now i have to calculate it by views and like amount or use buggy add-ons to see some of them)

Not making some Indian full copy 2077 here, that will be awful for all despite the tryhards or unplayable 5 minutes effort game.

Now there is even a CC0 Blender version with even less lines of code and more features (grid snap with changeable size. toggle for smooth shade, proper recalculate outside without “red”, merging redundant by distance 0.001 underhood):
