# Full UI App ? What do you think

Hi, i’m an indie developper i started working in a SEO startup (they want to try apps) 6 months ago.
I was clearly a begginer 6 months ago, i’m probably still a begginer but i made a lots of progress. I’m working for IOS Android and WP8. I only have a graphic designer who send me the .psd design of my apps.

My games are mostly 2D, menu games, i just made a 3D dice game (basic 3D) and i’m using only UI function to show things (GUI.Button, GUI.DrawTexture). I can have over 20 GUI.Button in the same js-script with different GUIStyle.
I’m pretty sure it’s a bad way to code my games, i don’t know if it’s heavy for the phone and i’m not even using NGUI. What do you think ? Should i learn a different way to code? or it’s not that terrible?

I would recommend you to take a look at the (new) UI system of unity.
It’s more performant then the old UI and has a lot of useful functions that can help you to deal with different screen sizes.
