fun with joints and rigidbodies

Hi.

Am currently playing with those ones… What i want to do is attach a cart ( a body with 2 wheels ) on a gameobject, and make the cart follow the gameobject movement just like a caravan would do behind a car…

I joined a zip file containing the whole unity project so that you can have a look at it…

Hit ‘play’ and move the ‘driver’ object in the scene… you’ll see almost what i need.

I wanted tho to ask a question about this and the configurable joints settings.

When you move the ‘driver’ the cart wheels move in a chubby way. mostly like it would be made of chewing-gum…

Does anyone have a clue on how to remove this effect ? Is there a way to do it indeed ?

did this post get burried ? or is just simply that ppl, just like me, don’t know anything about rigidbodies and how to achieve this and that with physics in unity ? :open_mouth:
