FYI: Windows builds in Parallels

So Parallels doesn’t officially support 3D rendering in hardware, however it seems that there is a software OpenGL driver installed somewhere. I just took a chance and tried running a Windows build for the heck of it and it ran… at about 1-3 FPS; but it was enough to test what I needed w/o rebooting. Just thought that was interesting.

Yeah, I’ve had similar results in that content runs quite slow in Firefox (2.0) within Parallels (MacBook Pro, Parallels running XP Home). Although I should say that IE seems to offer lower performance than Firefox…

All of that after a popup saying that there is no 3D acceleration support and that content might not play properly.
