The only map in the demo is locked? Or am I missing something
that should not be… there are three races in demo… you have to finish at least 3rd, to unlock next race… if you are in the menu, use arrows on the sides, to change selected race, than touch race screen to begin race… Does it help?
Seems to be working now…Nice graphics and presentation, but why am I slower than everyone else? 
you are not really slower, but you dont have so good acceleration from begining of the game… In full version you can upgrade your G-Bike by earn credits(win some races) and spending them in tunning menu… If you need to be faster, you should also follow ideal path, which is indicated by green part of HUD circle or try to hit some PowerUps.
