If you want game analytics (and yes, you can read that as “GameAnalytics”) that doesn’t sell your users’ data, then I invite you to try GamerGraph.io. In two minutes, connect your game and immediately begin getting analysis for:

We built this for two reasons:
User data should remain private (we won’t sell it, ever)
Game developers shouldn’t have to build servers
Free to register, and we’ll give you any support you need.
The world needs better games…let’s go build them.
This looks like a great idea, but I think a website would be nice that gives a high-level presentation of features and why it would be a good idea to use GamerGraph. It’s also not quite clear yet what the monetization model is for you, which means I (and probably other people as well) are not sure a) how much they’ll have to pay if at all and b) how they can be sure your service stays afloat long enough to make it a worthwhile time investment.
Thanks…this is helpful. I’d love to know - what kind of info on the website is most helpful in determining value? Maybe another way of putting it is, “What would make you click to learn more…or try it?”
As for business model, pricing is on the homepage - we just charge a monthly fee that is based on your usage - the more games, and/or the more activity in your games determines pricing: https://gamergraph.io/
Do you think that’s clear enough, or should we have more explanatory copy on the homepage?
Ah, right, I think a start would be linking that homepage here (or any other places where you present this).
IMO the first and most important questions to cover are:
“What is this?” It may be very obvious to you but I’m still not 100% sure what exactly it is that you’re offering.
“Why should I care?” Perhaps even a tiny bit of introduction on why analytics can be useful in the first place and then how your product can help with that.
“How does it work?” What do I need to do to make it work for my game?
“How much?” What’s the licensing model, how much does it cost…
@christoph_r this is really helpful and we will update the language on the site - glad to get your thoughts on this. May I ask - are you familiar with game and user analytics? If you’d be willing to try it out, I’d give you as much support as you want (and we’ll waive fees for now)…
The game I currently work on is still in production and not yet being deployed. It’s definitely something I plan to do once it’s at that stage! While I haven’t worked with user analytics for games yet, I also do data analytics in other contexts and really believe in using data to support decisions. So, I’m definitely keeping this on my watch list
Awesome…keep me posted any time - you clearly have a good mind for this stuff. Hope development continues to move forward well, and let me know any time if there’s anything we can do to help.
@Xkalliber yes you can add as many games as you’d like. Our pricing model right now is spelled out on our homepage - gamergraph.io , but if you want to test out multiple games, let me know and I’ll set up a free account for you.
Yup, can’t complain- hope GamerGraph is doing well, too! I’m certainly interested but also still in the middle of production for the foreseeable future…
