Game Creation Pipeline In-depth lesson series AVAILABLE (rated "excellent on YouTube)

Thank you guys for all the support you were and are giving to me!
I am now a Youtube partner with more than 1 000 subscribers, many many thanks! :smile:DD

Hello guys

I am doing a tutorial series that will get you from zero to intermediate and advanced in game development.

  1. You will learn how to use 3DS Max and Photoshop, Zbrush and will learn a lot of Unity.

This will include creating an AI that allows monsters to find shortest path to the player in a complicated, maze-like structure. Audience that would like to advance further through those lessons, will be going over recursions, generic lists and will learn how to create a structure that dynamically updates itself with a low productivity cost. Using that knowledge you will script your own IA that can hold at least 100 monsters (and beyond) that trace without lagging the whole game, a player, who is hiding in some room of the environment.

The code will be transportable and re-usable in other projects. In it, we are making a quite nice use of threads.

  1. You will get advanced with 3ds max, up to the point of skinning, professional rigging and animating the characters. Minimal skill if any is required.

  2. You will get advanced in texturing, looking over efficient UV unwrapping for games and different texturing techniques to really make the game stand out.

Right now I have five parts on youtube, each one is 1:30 hours long, full of interesting info on each topic. I am going to stick with long tutorials, but I am editing each one with care, so that you learn quick, without waiting.

Would I be able to use your lessons with Blender instead of 3ds max?

Totally, part 8 and 9 will teach you how to work with unity, but 3D concepts of previous parts will be concealed  Unless you get 3DS max Student Version (Free for several years)

by th way this is the official thread One of the BEST, (Beginner to a VERY Advanced), SHORT computer game course - Learn Content & Certification - Unity Discussions

Okay.
