thanks in advance,

Dual monitors. Get dual monitors. Dual monitors are essential. Two monitors, make sure you get the. Dos (two) monitors. Also get some coasters because you will be drinkin lots of tea and coffee.

Oh god I couldn’t stress the importance of dual monitors…

Dual monitors are an absolute needed requirement for speed.
Nothing worse than switching tabs over and over and over just to check the Unity reference lol.
Or any other thing, like talking to someone and making your game.

Screw dual monitors. Go triples.

LOL I do have triple, but sadly my HDMI cord for my big screen takes up too much room for the VGA to my third 27 inch lol.

I have triples because I’m into sim racing. It’s a huge step up from a single monitor. For working, having the third monitor is nice but not as huge of a boost as having a second monitor.
I’d really like to get one of these: http://obutto.com/index.php/gaming-cockpits/r3volution-gaming-cockpit/
They were designed for racing and flight sims but they also sell them as ergonomic workstations. I think the seat is probably too low to be really ergonomical but I want one anyway. A better idea would probably be one of the new Ikea standing desks that has a motor so you can switch between standing and sitting (sitting all the time isn’t good for you). Several companies sell them but the Ikea one is only $500 and is apparently quite good.

the motored desk sounds like a good idea but for sometime on the non near future :stuck_out_tongue:
