I’m in the process of building out a social network for game developers along with a good system for game promotions to help everyone get discovered and am looking for a bunch of developers to complete a survey for me.

OP - You might want to fix this. Looks like you copied the link straight out of Facebook messenger. Always copy links from the address bar.
Edit: Scratch that. Question 1 is a required question asking for an email address. Go spam your address book collection elsewhere.

The email address is purely to be able to keep interested people updated. I’ve just modified the form to not make it a requirement and to provide links to our social media channels to get the updates that way instead for those who don’t want to provide an email address.
Its traditional to ask for emails at the end of the survey instead of the beginning, along with a clear privacy statement. That way people know what you are doing and what the survey is before they give out personal details.
