ok! thank you for your suggestion.
do you feel but your Radya game did you do it alone? it’s beautiful reminds me of Tomb Raider apart from the fights.
sorry for my bad English.
Thanks and yep. I did it all alone (except the music and some textures). But before it I did at least 10 games. And I only feel shame when I review them: Basically, I tried to make everything I thought was “cool” instead of what was consistente with my first ideas of the projects.
My suggestion is that you should first think of what you want the player to feel. Then try to set the ambience, but not only throught scene lighting and music, but also thought gameplay mechanics.
thanks for the tip but I do not think I’m at your level.
congratulations for radya because you did it alone.
in short, do you suggest me to play a more complex and dynamic game?
Well , look. I am going to be clear, you may say/think (or whatsoever) that you are not at my level. When I started I also had that kind of thoughts. What I recommend is to Do whatever you want. The good thing about videogames is that you can make whatever world you desire. The only rule is to be consistent. Let´s say that you want your protagonist to be a fragile person at first, but then you give him/her a gun and…WOW…he/she made instant headshot in a group of well trainned mercenaries… THAT is not consistent and will make the player leave the world that you created because it is obviously inconsintent.
One thing you can do is to prepare a folder. In it you will leave thoughts, videos and pictures of your projects on different folders with the dates of each one. From time to time try to review them and see what was wrong. Just be critic with yourself.
MarcoscuroX I understand you and thanks for the suggestion.
Everything can be done if you want.
if you do not mind in some of my next project, could you help me?
Thanks in advance.
sorry for my bad English.

I leave here my portfolio (is a bit outdated but you can see some of my works): https://marcoantoniomeirelescarvalho.artstation.com/
