Game running slower and laggier on iOS than Android

So i created a game and it runs just fine, no lag spikes, no fps drops or problems. However, when i just port the exact same project for iOS every time a new object or texture is loaded there is a huge FPS drop. I’ve compressed all the textures as much as i could, added them all to preloaded assets in the player settings but nothing helps…Am I missing something??

How are you doing texture loading? What is your texture format?

I’m just attaching textures to materials and then attaching thoes materials to the objects. All of them are either psb or png

I’m sure he was wondering what the compressed texture format you are using is. Or are you leaving them all uncompressed?
