Don’t mean to backseat moderate, here, but this topic would be better suited to the showcase forum. You’ll definitely get feedback there, whereas people in this forum are probably looking for scripting-related help.

Whats the point of the game?

I like the particle effects on the missiles.

heh… heh…

there is no point to it yet.

oh and thanks.

It is pretty simple but still a start. The effects aren’t half bad either.

It could benefit from textures and a directional light, as well as more clear (to the player) game logic.

What are those stringy things?

Reeeeeeaaaaaaally slow and choppy on my 24" dual 2.33 GHz Intel Mac … even with settings turned way down. And if you press the space bar you just go up forever ?

I haven’t yet had a Unity made game run as poorly as this one :?
Theres not really much going on at all, so whats the story with that?

J.

I’m only getting a lot of slowdown when I move. If you post the code that you use to move the character, we can try to help you get rid of the slowdown.

Would like to check this out but it froze my system for about 5 minutes… until I could manage a force quit.

I’m on a 2Ghz MBP with max ram.

He has it in bullet time as the default (and doesn’t adjust the pixed time rate to go with it) Is that the problem?

No, it seemed to lock up everything, just made everything crawl. Didn’t try it twice; was lucky I made it out alive…

Command-option-escape

Hey Samus, be sure to specify whether its a webplayer, ppc or intel build? I downloaded it onto ppc to discover its an intel build…

Thanks
AC

Agree… And since I have access to the driver’s seat, I’ve moved the topic.

I wasn’t able to play (I’m actually on my dads computer, PPC G4), but I’ll try it on my Intel iMac later on at home.
