GameObject Disabling script?

Can you Disable a GameObject? I have done it with cameras but i can’t find how to do it with a GameObject.

Heres how i try it.

var camera0 : GameObject; 
var camera1 : GameObject; 
var Object0 : GameObject; 
var Object2 : GameObject;

if (Input.GetKeyDown ("1")){ 
camera0.camera.enabled = false; 
camera1.camera.enabled = true; 
Object0.Object.enabled = false; 
Object1.Object.enabled = true; 

} 
if (Input.GetKeyDown ("2")){ 
Object1.camera.enabled = true; 
camera1.camera.enabled = false; 
Object0.Object.enabled = true; 
Object1.Object.enabled = false; 
} 
}

Try GameObject.active

I’m pretty confident it works just like Enabled for Components.
