Hey guys,
This is a little game I put together using Unity for Android. Trying out a concept for a slingshot physics game in 3D.
Here are a few screenshots of the gameplay. A video is coming soon:
Looks like all the mechanics are sorted and gameplay is their Would be awesome if you could improve the visuals (y) then put it on the market again
Yeah, you definitely need to improve the visuals if you want to sell it. Although it’s not bad as it is, and graphics aren’t everything you have lots of competition from games that look very good.
Also, not that there’s anything wrong with the idea, but… is this 3D angry birds?..
You are both very correct. The graphics need a lot of work, also the menu system needs to be cleaned up and made to look nicer. The last thing that needs to be done is more levels and better levels that provide increasing challenges.
Unfortunately, I’m not sure how much time I have at the moment to work anymore on this game and my artist skills are next to zero.
I’m thinking I might see if anyone is interested in taking over the project and running with it? Maybe put it up on the asset store? What is the standard way of going about these things.
Don’t give up so easily, try and start a thread in the collaboration section of the forums asking for artists to join you
The catch is… no one will work with you if you don’t present yourself professionally. That means you must write up a detailed description of your game, outline in as much detail as you possibly can what you need done, how much is done and post screenshots. If you have a lot of the gameplay implemented and you’re confident it can attract people, put up a webplayer of the current build (Otherwise, don’t put it up, it will just turn people off)
Having said that, don’t just willingly take anyone’s offer to join you. Ask to see their portfolio, try and gauge them to see if their style (and skill level) is a good match for your project
Goodluck =)
