I’m a n00b - just installed Unity personal 5.4.1f and downloaded the VR samples.
When running the samples on a Samsung S6 edge+ I get a very choppy experience on even the simplest screen (e.g. the intro screen that shows one button and one message). Moving my head around has the image jumping instead of smoothly moving around.
Other VR apps on the device behave fine, so I don’t think there’s a hardware issues.
In build settings there is a checkbox for ‘autmatic api selection’ or something. if you uncheck that, there will be 2 new items called: ‘openGL 2.0 and openGL 3.0’. Made sure OpenGL3.0 is on top ( don’t know if that makes difference, but in case it does ) and rebuild it. This fixed some choppy frames when I first tried it on a S7. However this was on 5.4, not sure about 5.4.1f.
