Generating Drop Mesh Links for Terrain

I’m trying to make NavMeshAgents drop down from one platform in a terrain to another one.

My Drop height is at 1000 and the jump distance at 100, so that shouldn’t be a problem (There are even links generated to the opposite side of the valley here, as seen in the picture, but none straight from the platform to the ground. Is that even possible with terrains?
