Generative Music

As a cheap cheap indie developer, i have no budget for my very own project. There is a choice that i can use commercial free music from the internet. But the music in my game won’t be unique. The other way is to compose one by myself, but i am not talented at that.

So, do you know if there is any good program to generate music? And for more, do you know if there is a way to generate music in unity in real time?

Your best bet is probably all the music loop programs where you just combine premade stuff together. Have you use Garageband or etc?

I guess I tried that idea in Unity. First we buy several music loop with separated tracks. Second we use AudioSource.PlayScheduled() to play the loops/tracks. But we still have to find music loop

These programs usually provide hundreds or thousands of em. Garageband is pretty good with lots loops, features and other stuff.
