Generic avatar mask is not working

Hello!

So, I’ve been looking at a few posts on here about avatar masks, and most of them talk about avatar masks using the Humanoid functionality.

My rig needs to be generic and uses the Transform avatar mask. However, even though it is applied in my layer (it’s just under the base layer) it’s still not working.

I’m having this problem since reexporting my rig because I had an extra transform group before (groups called Rig, Geo, etc) that I needed to remove for the pivots to be accurate.

I did notice that the Avatar mask was updating on the Base Layer, but not on my added layer.

So, I feel I little silly. I had updated the animation that I wanted to replace the base animation with, and even though it didn’t create any errors, it wasn’t the latest version of that animation. Reimporting that animation did the trick.
