I noticed there was a game with the exact same name,…aside from a space between the words, that came out in 2009, on the google play store.
Otherwise, I checked it out. Can prolly use a small tutorial. And I found the navigation a bit sluggish. but overall I liked it.
maybe more visual feedback on how many points you get or lose depending on distance. I couldn’t tell how ‘bad’ I did( other than the red line). and it would be a nice reward to know you got a good score.
Thanks a lot for the feedback.
A tutorial would probably be useful and I most likely will add one in the next version.
Could you please specify what you mean by sluggish navigation?
You can’t see how many points you lose, but you can see how many points you get and by how many km/miles you were off-target in the popup UI element.
I almost seems that you didn’t see the distance and score counter.
If you can’t see the UI element after each guess that shows the distance and score, please reply and I’ll look into fixing the issue.
Ah,…I do see the +points and distance. I guess I would suggest making the font a bit bigger( I am playing on a Droid phone). Have the +Points be a bit larger than the distance, for separation., perhaps a different color, maybe a pulse or something to draw your eye to it… At first glance it all seemed liked ambient digital mumbo jumbo data.
I think the city,Country call outs could stand to be bigger too.
What I mean by sluggish is that when I swipe around to get to my destination, it just feels slow and painful,…like the game is about finding the location, not swiping furiously to inch toward it.
Take a look at googlemaps, and the tension of swiping around there. I’d think people are ‘used’ to that speed and sense of falloff. I , myself, am still in the process of figuring out a good ‘feel’ for swipe navigating.
Especially since the timer is pretty short,…which is what I like about it too as a challenge.
