Get Editor Camera values when hit Play?

Is possible to get Editor Camera values (pos, rot) when hit Play button? I want to re-position my character every time I hit Play (for debug of course), but I can’t find any way to get those values. Any ideas?

[MenuItem("Camera/Reset To Default Position")]
static public void Reset()
{
    SceneView sceneView = SceneView.lastActiveSceneView;
    sceneView.LookAt(new Vector3(0, 10, -10), Quaternion.identity);
    sceneView.Repaint();
}

[MenuItem("Camera/Look At Main Camera")]
static public void LookAtCamera()
{
    SceneView sceneView = SceneView.lastActiveSceneView;
    sceneView.LookAt(Camera.main.transform.position, Quaternion.identity);
    sceneView.Repaint();
}

Here’s an example from a small tool I wrote for my last project. Via a menu item it gets the camera from the current scene view and positions or rotates it. Notice, that this needs “using UnityEditor” and should also be places inside a folder called “Editor”.

Well, from SceneView I only need editor camera position and rotation, but apparently, the values I want to extract from are null.

Not sure about the problem, but just as an idea: The scene view camera is only active, when the scene view is focused. Not entirely sure what that means in practice, but I guess you can try it out.
