Been experimenting with some art in Unity for a project im considering and its just not happening. Basically when the art is put into unity the edges are either aliased or blurry depending on what AA is used. tried x2, x4, x8 filtering but its still looking bad. Here below you can see the level of quality I am wanting to achieve in unity.
Update on quality from using the method of rendering it big with anisotropic filtering, rending it on screen. Essentially drawing 4times as much. Hoping it wont cause any performance issues due to the fact were not using much on screen anyway, still looking too aliased on the edges tho.
It’s your video card, certain video cards can take shortcuts when rendering anti-aliasing in order to try and pad benchmarks.
I am getting the same kind of output on my web player as you do charlie. I have I think a radeon 7 series, whatever comes with the last years 12-core mac pro model.
Yeah im on an iMac, Apparantly its an issue all macs get with webplayers, Im not sure. If that is the case, Im going to rely on Testflight builds for my previewing purposes. Really cheesed me off tho. Maybe somebody has a fix out there?
