Getting an error when trying to use unity. "cannot resolve api2.amplitude.com"

I am using Unity Version 2022.3.6f1 (I also tried on an older unity version. Specifically 2019.4.31f1)

I get the error above sometimes when I open unity and always when trying to upload any avatar to VRChat. I was using unity yesterday and everything was fine, I even uploaded an avatar to VRChat, but now it doesn’t work.

This is the error I get: Could not resolve host ‘api2.amplitude.com’
This is a link to a ss of my unity console:

From the help I have gotten so far I know this isn’t a VRChat problem at all, but I figured maybe someone here might know what I can try to do. I cant find anything about this when I look it up, it’s always something a little different than my problem.

What I have tried:

  • Updating my .NET framework
  • Updating vrchat SDK
  • Updating VCC
  • Restarting both unity and my PC
  • Uploading from a new project
  • Reinstalling Unity version 2022.3.6f1

From what I could find I am pretty sure this is maybe an api unity uses for something? Idk much and am kind of a dummy so any help would be very much appreciated. I can’t really use unity at all right now.

After trying all of that and getting some help people were saying it is a DNS issue and I tried resolving api2.amplitude.com in a cmd and it worked so I am a little lost.

I can resolve it on my own when I test it in a PowerShell, it just isn’t working on unity :c But I dont understand why uninstalling it completely and reinstalling it didn’t work.

Im having the same issue, it seems like a vrchat sdk problem after they switch to 2022.3.6f1

I found that if i connect to a vpn to upload an avatar, it works
