Completely new to unity. I have been trying to get relatively nice textures on my models but I seem to be having a lot of trouble. I used insane bump to get the texture maps, used them in blender, and tried importing. They don’t show up the way I want them to on larger models, even if I up the tiling. Some advice or perhaps point me in the right direction with getting great textures?
Unity cannot import material from outside perfectly. It’s a game engine. Try the shaders in Unity or find others in asset store. Also, may you give us some screenshots?
I like to add little crunchy bits like chow mein noodles and contrast that with something tender, like grilled chicken. It really improves the texture.
Thanks Sunny and LED. Yes one of my problems was uv unwrapping, I was making the models in blender then importing to unity. It looks much better, but im still having problems here and there. I’ll mess around with the shaders and see what i can find. Yes ill post a pic.
