Hi, I have light rotating like the sun and it creates weird ‘halos’ of light as you can see on this screenshot; please could you help me get rid of these? Please let me know whatever info you need.
Sorry for raising this again; could I get some help?
It’s hard to say what’s going wrong here without some more context. You are welcome to submit a bug report if this is blocking you. If you want to try troubleshooting yourself, I would suggest looking into the Frame Debugger built into unity, and seeing if you can spot a pass where something seems wrong.
BTW, are you using deferred or forward rendering?
Hi, I just noticed your reply; please accept my apologies for not thanking you earlier! I did not know about forward vs deferred rendering so I will be looking into this and it will hopefully address the problem; many thanks again!
These concentric circles you are seeing are called “light banding” or “color banding” by the way. You might find more info by searching for these terms in connection with Unity.
Great; will have a look; many thanks
