Getting Unity3d 4.X Pro somehow?

Hi!

I have a Unity3d Project lying around that I made with Unity 4.X Pro. Back then I had a one year subscription to Unity3d.
I tried upgrading to Unity 5.X but this turned out not to be an option for me since the projects relies on several other dlls that have been specifically made for Unity 4 and are not x64 etc.

So long story short:
Anyone know a good way of getting Unity 4 Pro somehow?
Even a 30 day trial would be sufficient since I just want to do a few quick things.

Thank you!

If you are not using an former pro features in the project the free version would work well.
Otherwise a Unity5 “Pro” license also works for Unity4 afaik.

Thank you for your quick answer!

Sadly the project relies on pro features. Since the DLLs have been written in C++ and not in C# so the free version is sadly not an option for me.
I might have to contact the support about which Unity5 licenses allow me to use Unity4 Pro then.

I went ahead and poked around to see if I could get you a full answer, it was much easier to post here than on twitter so here goes!

Unity 5.x licenses are indeed backwards compatible. With our new subscription based system, both Pro and Plus subscriptions will give you access to all of the 4.x Pro features. Please take a look at the difference between Pro and Plus here, to see what restrictions and services you get with each tier. There isn’t a way to get just a 4.x license anymore.

If you’re just looking to poke around in your older project for a few days, a Plus license would be your best option in my opinion. Hopefully this helped, and thanks for chiming in @Schubkraft .
