Hi guys,
I’m doing a simple FPS just to learn Unity. When I hit play, I get a strange artifact on the screen in the background. It’s almost as if a piece of the terrain (a simple island in this case) is floating above the terrain itself against the skybox. This is intermittent, but when it happens, the play freezes. I’m running on a dual core 64 bit Gateway running Vista Home Premium, SP1. with an NVIDIA GeForce 7100 card.
I have several NPCs running around the map. Don’t know if I’m slowing things down too much or if my scripts might be problematic. Sometimes it plays fine. The only other thing I notices is that when I run the play on “free aspect” at 16:9 full screen, I get severe ghosting on the screen when I pan the mouse. In other words, multiple copies of hills, characters, etc. fanned out acrosse the screen. It’s strange. Thanks for the help.
