gizmo icons disappearing with distance in 2020.1?

by deign? how do I control that to show all icons regardless of distance?

Look at the gizmo pulldown in the top of the Scene window.

yeah that slider, used to control size, now it controls show distance too uh… not sure it’s a good thing
