Ok, Enabling VSync in Quality Settings solves the problem.
But why is it disabled for PC Quality Level by default?
Because real gamers don’t cap their framerate.
I suggest you forget playing around with mac and stick with windows for game dev. It’s the superior OS.
Can you please provide your vision of real gamers in more detail?
Since the response you got doesn’t actually answer your question:
This is an interaction between the refresh rate of your monitor and the framerate of the game. When they don’t allign this thing called screen tearing happens. It’s totally normal, and because screen recording doesn’t care about your monitor, it doesnt show up on a recording.
VSync just forces your game to have the same framerate as your monitor, so it solves the problem. Real gamers can totally use macs, it’s just up to your personal preference (plus mac isn’t the reason for this issue, it’s universal), and I know loads that do cap their framerate.
Yeah, thank you.
