Glitches with Windows Standalone and WSA Build

Hi!

I have glitches when running a Windows Standalone or WSA build in Full Screen. Strange colors and screen blinking.

For Windows Standalone, disabling “Use DXGI Flip Model Swapchain for D3D11” fix the problem, but for WSA there is no way to disable this.

Is this bug known? I added an zipped video to the post.

Could you please submit a bug report with a (minimal) reproducible?

Yeah, please submit a bug report! This isn’t a known issue and it sounds very serious.

Does this happen if you use DirectX 12?

  • Tested and it Happens with 2019.3b9 and 2019.3b10.
  • Legacy Graphics Pipeline
  • No Post-Processing or Custom Shaders
  • The build was made with “Auto Graphics API”
  • In WSA builds, when running full screen, if I put the mouse on Top of the Screen, the Title Bars Appears and the glitch goes away. It comes back when the title bar dissapears.

I will test now with an empty project and test if it happens or if is something relative to my project.

  • It does not happens when Disabling “Auto Graphics API” and Adding DirectX12 as first API in the List.

Just tested it, it happens EVEN on an empty project. Just added an Camera, Canvas with an Image.

The glitch happens on my Desktop (I attached a DxDiag) here, but it works on my Notebook (Dell XPS 14).

I have never had any similar issues in any previous version of Unity (2019.2-) or any other game / application.

Hey, thanks for the investigation. I’ll ask our QA to try to reproduce.

Hey, we actually seem to be unable to reproduce it. Could you try updating your graphics driver?
