Hi, check this tutorial series… It was released now so long ago and is like best practices, or how to setup lighting environment… it has a project to follow as well…

Yes i am reading it as well now. This is more technical information. If you need more information on how to achieve cinematic look you probably have to find another source. But be sure to use Image Effects as well as they will be the main tool for achieving cinematic look:

An easy way to archive good looking lighting is using Area Light + Amplify Color + Tone mapping Eye-Adaption + Planer reflections on the floor.

If you want more lighting setups, send me your model to make new lighting tutorial for your model (Only simple models like garage).
I’d suggest you again to using Area Lights and emmisive materials.The result is too close to V-Ray.
