Glowing material/shader ?

Hi all

I created a game and I used self illuminated shader for glowing effect. I thought that shader with outside glowing would be better. Can someone help with coding glowing shader ?

I have not used the script I provided, though could you confirm and maybe slightly detailled what you have been able to do so that when someone ends up here he can know rigt away if that is what he needs. Thanks
