Its not really a clone you know games like doodle jump existed before the doodle jump;)

I know they existed before but none of them sold or made anything like Doodle Jump did, and when it made it big everyone made jump games with the same mechanics Just change the character to a ninja, a frog, a bird, etc The game looks solid in art and programming but does it have any features extra, any improvements on gameplay over its competition?

It is their first game developed with unity and its free… copying is part of the learning process
