In quality settings for the WebGL player, 2x Anti aliasing, even on a beast of a computer, causes a significant frame rate drop in the game in the browser.
Can anyone recommend a highly efficient AA post processing shader, or Unity Asset that will give that smooth AA look, but without the performance cost?
Thanks

Just use fxaa (or your favorite post-process blur) that comes with the builtin image effects. We use this for os x since msaa does not work on that platform with webgl (something something security).
A little surprised you are having such performance problems though. I’m guessing you are using deferred rendering? We use 4x msaa with no problem for our webgl builds (granted we are forward and target low end).
Finally unrelated to webgl, but 2x msaa is not really a good “bang for you buck” setting. This can be doubly true depending on the market you are targeting (pre-broadwell intel igpus don’t even natively support 2x, intel basically emulates it with 4x). In general with msaa you want perfect squares (which in practice limits you to 4x msaa).
