No. Unity does not use web Javascript.

Seems like most Unity books use JavaScript. Besides my own (Learn Unity 4 for iOS Game Development), I’ve read Sue Blackman’s Beginning 3D Game Development with Unity, Will Goldstone’s Unity 3.x Game Development Essentials and Jeff Murray’s Game Development for iOS with Unity3D and they all use JavaScript. If you’re completely new to programming, Sue Blackman’s and Will Goldstone’s books might give you a softer start.
