Hi all,
I’m about ready to jump into the Unity band wagon and the first step is to go out and buy my iMac 17" (Intel Duo). Since I’ve been a Windoze guy for so long, I’m not sure where the best sources for Mac RAM might be. Any suggestions? I’m thinking about getting a single 1 GB to up the RAM to 1.5 GB total.
Thanks!
Macs use the same RAM as PCs, so go the same places you’d go for PC RAM. Just get the right kind (as you would with a PC).
A lot of folks like newegg.com for any PC components.
Thanks Podperson, I’d prefer to get from Newegg, just wanted to make sure I get the right stuff!
EDIT: Ok, found this at Newegg.com. Unless anyone has any recommendations against it, this looks like what I’ll be getting:

I get all my ram from Crucial. But it looks like you can get a better deal at newegg.com. Congrats on getting a Mac and Unity, I look forward to seeing what great stuff you create with it. Jeff
