i need to create a cape simulation on mecanim, but i have a hard time to find any good tutorial on it, how good cloth simulation performance wise is in unity? cause i want to target mobile plateform, anyone got any experience on it ?
I’ve never tried cloth on mobile, but even on dektops it can be pretty processor intensive… depending on your settings…
One moderately detailed cape shouldn’t be too bad. A hundred of them will probably have issues. Performance is always a balancing act, so without trying it out and seeing the results, you won’t really know.
