In the google play developer console you can set local prices for in-app products. (You can also set local prices for app selling).
These generated prices for in-app products use current exchange rates and locally relevant pricing patterns.
I added 1.99 $ for default price. Then I looked at some countries. The prices for some countries are too high. I mean, some countries people are not earning so much.
Has someone experience with this? Is there a calculator which consider this? I mean, realistic in-app products local price for some countries.
Why? Because, if the in-app product price is too high, nobody would buy it.
About the only “calculator” I’m aware of is Google’s currency conversion tool. You simply feed the appropriate number into Google with the three digit code and ask it to convert to another type. For example “13.99 BOB in USD” returns 2.02. It might be capable of more but I haven’t tried. That said you can get the numbers necessary to do the calculations yourself quite easily with it. For example “Bolivia average income” returned $2,800. It didn’t state so but it’s yearly.
