Google Play Games on Amazon?

In my Android apps, I’m using Google Play Games for leaderboards and achievements.
I’m using Google’s official Unity plugin:

I was wondering, will this service work if publishing on Amazon too?
It works fine on my app hosted on Google Play, but will it work on Amazon too?
And, is it allowed?

AFAIK Amazon Kindle devices don’t have Google Play Services, and because of that their docs say that you have to replace it with Amazon GameCircle
