Google Play LVL and Encryption registration

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if you need to register on the BIS SNAP-R site for encryption export registration when using Google’s LVL plugin from the Asset Store, and if so what sections?

The EAR is huge but I gather it’s related to supplements 5 & 6 of EAR Part 742 but it’s pretty fuzzy so not sure.
You’d think Google would say so but they just say Export compliance - Play Console Help

I can see why, it’s a PITA to test
