How does prime’s FB for “share” work, does it use the build in share of the android os? (then it should be a problem here i think with the ranking)
But what if you include a login or highscores…where they compete with their friends via highscores. How do you have to rank your app then? Do you loose alot of potencial users just because of that?
If someone is just logging into your app you’re fine. If they are logging in and browsing anything that someone else created, or talking to someone through the app then they recommend to rate it higher. But as I said, if it’s just logging then it’s okay.
Also, my opinion is that even sharing it on FaceBook is okay, as long as they aren’t able to basically see what others have said through your app.
Google know what the internet is like, that’s why they have a strict rule.
If i create login and keep highscores on my server, then it’s ok.
But if i create high scores in such a way that they login with FB + compete with their friends via highscores i have to rate it higher.
When you say “someone else created”. That high score created someone else yes, that counts?
I’m sorry to be so daft but i wouldn’t like to run into problems because i chose the wrong marketing model.
I’ll just write out how i would like to create it:
-Highscores (betweeen friends via FB and world wide)
Friends: So if one of your fiends is playing a game, you two can compete. Then every month a prize would come out for the winner or whatever.
World wide: The world wide highscore, Just a login with my server saving the scores
The verbiage implies that they are trying to protect younger kids from seeing uncontrolled user generated content and also the finding and communication between users is uncontrolled and potentially dangerous to kids.
They aren’t trying to make publishing high scores difficult.
