GPS for Unity Android

Greetings,

I am planning to do something with Android, GPS/Wifi-tracking and Unity. After browsing the internet, I only found
old information on how to do it. From it being impossible, to plugins and lastly to iPhoneSettings interface.
The newest bit was over half-a-year ago, which suggested using the iPhoneSettings interface for that.
Now my question is, is this still the most valid option or are there newer and better ways to do it?
