I am using Windows 11, and running Unity Editor 6000.0.22f1, 17.0.3 URP with a AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX graphics card, driving dual 4K monitors. Using the default layout forward+ rendering. If I am in edit mode, without running the code, on a 232 Gig project (Including all the tools and Assets). If I open an empty scene, in the scene window, I get 40% GPU power consumption (In windows Task Manager), which makes my room pretty hot. If I then select the game window (without running the game) I get 0% GPU Power consumption. Is there a way to stop this happening in the scene window?
I’m having the same high gpu consumption on 6000.0.22f1 but using a Nvidia card.
Same for me with the same Unity Version 6.0.22f1. But this only happens on my 4k screen not on my HD Monitors.
I get up to 70-90% usage in the editor in an open scene and also almost no usage in game scene.
